Our

Journey So far

We strive to empower women and communities through various initiatives. Our programs address women’s health, prevent child sexual abuse, promote cancer awareness, and empower women entrepreneurs. We have also driven several other initiatives and collaborated with other NGOs to maximize our impact across India.

MHP - Menstrual Hygiene Program

One of our most important and impactful initiatives is the Menstrual Hygiene Program, aimed at educating and empowering young girls about menstrual health management. This is one of our concerned programs because here we don't just concentrate on urban areas but also extend to reach rural communities which is our aim.

Our program aims to create a supportive environment where girls can learn about their bodies, understand the menstrual cycle, and knowledge needed for proper menstrual health management.

Our team uses a variety of teaching methods like discussions, and hands-on activities, to ensure that the information is understood and memorable. We help girls manage their menstrual health, stay healthy and confident during their periods.

Awespire Sanitary Pad Drive

We have recently taken significant steps to address

a critical issue that is: Using cloth and unhygienic materials can lead to serious health issues, including infections and reproductive complications affecting the menstrual health and hygiene of women and girls majorly in rural communities. Through our innovative Sanitary Pad Drive program, we have not just raised awareness about the health risks which come along with using unhygienic materials during menstruation but also taken practical steps to ensure women have access to safe and hygienic sanitary pads.

We believe that every woman and girl deserves access to safe and hygienic menstrual products like sanitary pads, along with the knowledge to make right choices about their health which at last is the aim of our program.

Awareness regarding Good touch and Bad touch

We are also dedicated to developing a society where children are empowered with the knowledge and confidence to recognize and respond to inappropriate touch. We recently carried out an impactful awareness program on good touch and bad touch.

Through a different approach like workshops, and seminars, we are trying to educate communities about this issue. One of the major moves by us was the creation of a short film, crafted to convey the shades of good touch and bad touch in a clean and easy to understand manner.

With a story that resonated with audiences of all ages, the film served as a motive for discussions and reflections within the communities. We are committed to create awareness on a critical issue but also making way for a future where every child is assured of a safe and good environment.

Nirbhaya

Dot Initiative

We carried out Nirbhaya Dot Initiative to Promote Awareness and to End Child Sexual Abuse. Child sexual abuse and sexual abuse is a great issue that affects millions across the globe, yet it remains hidden. And we have taken a bold step to bring this issue into the light with our initiative.

At the heart of the initiative is a simple powerful symbol a black dot on the center of the palm. This dot represents three key principles which are: Change, change is the first key of the Nirbhaya Dot. It calls for a transformation in society towards sexual abuse.

Awareness, the black dot serves to draw attention to the topic and encourage discussions. As more people join the movement, our aim becomes stronger. Fearlessness the black dot on the palm signifies the courage to speak out against abuse and stand up for the rights of survivors. It empowers individuals to break the silence and ask for justice. By placing this mark on their hands, individuals stand to the fight against child sexual abuse and spreading awareness.

Cervical and Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Through the Cervical and Breast Cancer Awareness Program, we are reaching out to communities to educate, empower, and inspire individuals to take control of their health and well-being. Our team along with healthcare professionals conduct workshops and seminars in schools, community centers, and workplaces. These events aim to explain Cervical and Breast cancer by providing clear, accurate information about the disease, its risk factors, and the importance of early detection.

We understand that the cancer journey doesn't end with treatment. Cancer survivors face unique challenges. We also offer support groups and resources for cancer survivors. Our Program is a movement to inspire change. By spreading knowledge, promoting prevention, and supporting cancer survivors, we are making a huge difference in the lives of countless individuals.

Acid Attack Survivors Workshop

By providing support and education to those in need we took our latest initiative, where we hosted an inspiring workshop for acid attack survivors, a group that often faces significant physical, emotional, and societal challenges.

This event was designed to empower these survivors, educate the community, and offer a platform for survivors to share their stories and inspire others.

Participants were very much touched by the accounts of survivors who, despite their scars and physical injuries, had rebuilt their lives and found new paths forward. Our Workshop was a powerful event that brought together survivors, their families, and the community in a spirit of hope. By educating people about the challenges faced by acid attack survivors and providing moral support, the foundation is making a significant impact on the lives of those affected.

Wom(en)novator Program

We are excited to introduce the Wom(en)novator Program, a platform dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs, especially those in rural Bharath. Our vision is to empower these women through a structured, step-by-step approach, and we are honored to collaborate with the Metamorphoses Foundation to bring this vision to life.

Through the Wom(en)novator Program, we are creating a platform to support women entrepreneurs in rural Bharath. Our program offers:

1. Training and Mentorship: Providing skill development and business mentorship to help women start and grow their enterprises.

2. Access to Resources: Connecting entrepreneurs with essential resources such as funding, technology, and market access.

3. Community Support: Building a network of women entrepreneurs to share experiences, challenges, and successes.

PINK-A-BIN CAMPAIGN

'Pink-a-Bin' Campaign by our foundation aims to Menstrual Waste Segregation in blocks at the primary level. This campaign aims to introduce pink plastic bags in the corporate sector, schools, and et al so that sanitary napkins are disposed of in pink bags as menstrual waste.

Non-biodegradable materials in sanitary napkins and tampons can take centuries to decompose, leading to substantial waste build-up and polluting ecosystems.

By introducing a color-coded system with pink plastic bags, the Pink-a-Bin campaign is driving change. The Pink-a-Bin campaign is just the beginning of a small movement towards responsible menstrual waste management. Through ongoing education, and community engagement, we are making way for systemic change.

NGO 2 NGO

'IF AN NGO SUPPORTS ANOTHER NGO, GREAT THINGS CAN HAPPEN For the first time, an NGO has taken a few other NGO(s) on board to support their programs in different states of India.  By focusing on education, healthcare, and community development, we have created meaningful change in the lives of countless individuals.

However, the foundation recognized that the challenges faced by communities across India are more. No single organization, no matter how effective, can address all these issues alone. So, in order to increase its impact, we took a unique approach, partnering with other NGOs that share its vision for a better world and by creating a network, we are able to increase the strengths of each partner to achieve shared goals. This collaborative model represents a more integrated and cooperative approach.
